Denise A. Battles, President

Dr. Denise A. Battles began her tenure as Geneseo’s 13th president on July 1, 2015. She is the second woman to lead the college as permanent president since the college’s founding in 1871. Her appointment at Geneseo caps a 25-year career as a geologist, professor and higher education administrator.
